چکیده
<p>The dye wastewater discharge from the textile industries mainly affects aquatic environment. Hence, treatment of this is essential for a pollutant-free The purpose research to optimize removal efficiency process influencing independent variables such as pH, electrolysis time (ET), and current density (CD) by using Box-Behnken design (BBD) optimization Genetic Algorithm (GA) modelling. electrocoagulation technique was used treat synthetically prepared Reactive Black solution under batch mode potentiometric operations. percentage error BBD significantly greater than GA modelling results. optimum factors determined were CD-59.11 mA/cm2, ET-24.17 minutes, pH-8.4. At moment, experimental predicted efficiencies found be 96.25% 98.26%, respectively. most least predominant beta coefficient ET pH outcome shows modeling better tool predicting well factors.</p>

This paper utilizes a statistical approach, the response surface optimization methodology, to determine the optimum conditions for the Acid Black 172 dye removal efficiency from aqueous solution by electrocoagulation. The experimental parameters investigated were initial pH: 4-10; initial dye concentration: 0-600 mg/L; applied current: 0.5-3.5 A and reaction time: 3-15 min. These parameters wer...
متن کاملModeling and Optimization of Arsenic (III) Removal from Aqueous Solutions by GFO Using Response Surface Methodology
Arsenic is a highly toxic element for human beings, which is generally found in groundwater. Dissolved Arsenic in water can be seen as As+3 and As+5 states. The adsorption process is one of the available methods to remove Arsenic from aqueous solutions. Thus, this papers aims at removing Arsenic (III) from aqueous solutions through adsorption on iron oxide granules. The relation among four inde...
